What is life coaching?
Life coaching is a simple, yet extremely powerful and immediate tool. It allows you to eliminate the chaos, confusion, self-doubt and stress that are part and parcel of modern living. With my help, you will start to take back control of your life from the very first session, and begin to enjoy the happiness that comes from being free of other people’s expectations.

The techniques I will teach you and encourage you to practise will help you break down your restricting barriers, clear away the clutter within your life and allow you to rediscover what is really important to you. And once you know that and start to address your true needs, all the other issues in your life will quickly fade away.

Life coaching is a developmental partnership aimed at unlocking your full potential. As the sessions progress, I will coach you in breaking obstructive belief patterns, bringing perspective back into your life, setting effective goals and taking action to achieve the things that really matter to you.

Life coaching is founded on encouraging your strengths, not disparaging your weaknesses. It is incisive, constructive, positive and holistic – the insights you gain will have a significant effect on every aspect of your life, both now and in the future.

What happens in a session?
Life coaching sessions will usually take place over the telephone, allowing you to relax and talk in familiar surroundings. However, I am happy to conduct face-to-face sessions if preferred. All discussions are totally confidential and non-judgemental.

Although the sessions are conducted in an atmosphere of calm and reflection, some of the insights you will gain into your true self will be quite startling. Your inner strengths will start to reveal themselves as the sessions progress, and I will highlight them as they arise.

I will ask questions designed to help you peel away the outside layers surrounding an issue until you arrive at the central problem. The mind is an expert at concealing the truth, so don’t be too surprised if the problem you end up with wasn’t the one that you thought you had at the start.

Once you have discovered the real issues, I will guide you in exploring the solutions. Please note, though, that it is you who will set your goals and decide the actions you need to take to achieve the resolution you want within your timescales.

What will not happen
I will not offer you advice during a session. All of the goals, information, ideas and actions will come from you – my role is to help you to recognise and address the real issues in your life.

I will not tell you what to think. Your beliefs about yourself are yours. And although I may ask you to examine the background to limiting or destructive beliefs, I will never ask you to discuss anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.

You will never be wrong at any time during a session. While I may ask you for clarification, I will respect your views at all times.

How many sessions will I need?
The number you require will depend entirely upon your unique circumstances, the depth and range of issues that you want to address, and the level of commitment you can bring to making the changes happen.

How long will each session last?
Sessions are an hour long.

How frequent are the sessions?
Most people like to have a session once a week, although longer intervals can also be appropriate, especially when our work together is nearing its conclusion.

How much will the sessions cost?
I will discus the cost structure with you when you phone for your free 20 minute evaluation, as special offers are sometimes available.
